1905 / FIRST COOKIE FACTORY IN YUCATÁN (MEXICO).
It was in the year 1905 in a modest building in the 18th St. at García Ginerés neighborhood, originally known as Barrio de San Cosme, where the first cookie factory was installed in Mérida Yucatn, founded by Don Luis A. Dond.

1905 / LUIS A. DONDÉ QUINTERO, FUNDADOR.
Luis A. Dondé Quintero, Founder of the Dondé Cookie, who always cultivated excellent quality and careful service as strengths.

1911 / NEW BISCUIT FACTORY IN THE CENTER OF MÉRIDA YUCATÁN.
Six years after the creation of the company, in 1911 Mr. Luis A. Dondé inaugurated the first building built expressly for the manufacture of Cookies.

1920

1938 / NEW COMPANY NAME.
In 1938, with a visionary spirit, the Dond family established the company "Productos de Harina S.A. de C.V.", formerly Luis Dondé S. in C.

1923 / FAMILY OF THE FOUNDER.

1940

1947 / ALEJANDRO GÓMORY AGUILAR, NEW DIRECTOR.

1950 / PRESS ADVERTISEMENT.
On a beach on the Yucatecan coast, five smiling children enjoy the sea, the sand, the breeze... and the tasty Dondé cookies. The panorama takes us back to family summer vacations, one of the most deeply rooted traditions in Yucatan. It is an advertisement published in the newspaper in 1950. The nice drawing illustrates very well the philosophy and values that the company has upheld since its foundation: full customer satisfaction, product quality, and the promotion of the spirit of brotherhood and healthy living. 1955 / EXTENSION OF THE GARCÍA GINERÉS PLANT.
By the year 1955, the expansion of the current plant in García Ginerés was built, evolving from the wood-fired oven to the next generation of machinery of the time, and new products and strategies began to be baked for the takeoff of the company in the decade of the 60s. 1960 / NEW FACTORY AT COLÓN AND ITZAES AVENUES.
During the 1960s, the brothers, Engineer Alejandro and Carlos Gómory Rivas, became involved in the operation of the business, increasing the production lines and consequently the installed capacity. Proof of this is the creation in 1960 of a "new factory that for its time had the greatest advances and the most extensive facilities, located at the intersection of Colón and Itzas avenues in Mérida. 1960 / DELIVERY VEHICLES.

1965 / OPENING OF THE PASTA FACTORY.
As part of this development, in 1965 the Pasta factory was inaugurated, at the time, the most modern, integrated into the plant in García Ginerés, where it is located today.

1977 / BLESSING OF NEW MACHINERY.
In December 1977, Archbishop Manuel Castro Ruiz, in the company of the Gómory family, blessed the new machinery that came into operation at the factory. The photos of such an event reflect the modernity of the time at the plant.

1977 / TRADITIONAL SODA CANS.

1978 / ALEJANDRO GÓMORY PASSED AWAY.
In 1978, after the death of Mr. Alejandro Gómory Aguilar, the company was taken over by Mr. Carlos Gómory Rivas in the administrative area and Engineer Alejandro Gómory Rivas in the Production area.

1980

1990 / NEW MÉRIDA - UMÁN PLANT
Continuing with the policy of updating, modernity, improvement in efficiency and in view of the needs of the market, the company decided to build the mega plant in the Mérida - Umán industrial corridor, with fully automated production lines, with greater capacity from the kneading process. until the end of the packaging process, which began operations in 1990.

1994 / “GLOBITO” AND “BIZCOCHITO” ARE BORN
In 1994 the two iconic characters of Galletas Dondé were born: Globito and Bizcochito, these characters injected new energy into the company and the marketing of the products.

2000

2004 / LOGO OF THE CENTURY.
Century logo. In June 2004, Globito and Bizcochito, characters from the Dondé Biscuit, presented the commemorative logo of the company's century of foundation.

2005 / RECOGNITION 100 YEARS.

2012

2012 / NEW MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL.
In 2012, the brothers, Engineer Alejandro and Mr. Carlos Gómory Rivas, decided to leave the operation of the organization and form a Board of Directors in which the family and highly qualified external advisors continue to participate, and leave the General Management in the hands of a specialized person. This was done to face the challenges of the future with the aim of leveraging the growth and development of the company. Always promoting the spirit of change, modernization and updating that has prevailed in the company and those who have directed it, from its foundation to date.
